An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commis Chef at our 4 star hotel in Dunkeld.
Job Type: Full-time.
- To assist in the preparation, cooking and presentation of menu items as directed by the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and Chef de Partie.
- Work with all Chef de Partie’s, providing support to all sections of the kitchen.
- Maintain and achieve a high standard of food quality, preparation, production and to assist in service under guidance from the Senior Chefs.
- Ensure all food preparation areas under your control are maintained in a clean & tidy condition, in accordance with the cleaning schedule and complying with all regulations regarding to Health and Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Maintain clear communication between the Kitchen and other departments.
- A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a 4* / 5* star establishment.
- NVQ Level 1 or equivalent.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
- Willingness to undertake further training and learn new skills.
